Welcome to our final edition of our Retailer Tech & Product Updates for 2024! 🚀
It has been a fantastic year for Snappy and our retailers, and we’re proud to be continually developing our technology to improve the experience of both our retailers and customers. Here’s what’s new and on the horizon:
Driver App Update
We’ve made important updates to the Driver App to enhance functionality and performance.
We advise drivers update their Snappy Shopper app to the latest version to take advantage of these improvements.
Staying up to date ensures smoother operations and a better user experience.
Driver Assignment on the Admin Dashboard
Administrators can now assign drivers directly from the dashboard, streamlining operations and improving order management.
How it works:
- By default this will be available for all users with the orders page on the admin dashboard
- Access orders page > select the order
- A new tab will appear ‘Assign Driver’ and the list of drivers associated stores will appear
- If the driver needs to re-assign then the reverse process will be carried out
Picker Mobile App Reminder
For our Picker App users, don’t forget to download the latest version from Google Play. Click the link below to get the app:

Small But Important Updates
- Exact Word Matches Prioritisation: Searching for items just got smarter. For example, if you search for “Beef,” results for "Beer" will no longer appear before "Beef." Exact matches will now be prioritized, making searches more intuitive and efficient.
- Out-of-Stock Items Now at the Bottom: To improve shopping efficiency, we now automatically move out-of-stock items to the bottom of the product list. Available products are prioritized at the top, making it easier for customers to find and purchase what they need. Out-of-stock items are still visible at the bottom for reference.
- Improved Accessibility on iOS with VoiceOver Support: We’re excited to announce improvements to the Snappy Shopper iOS app! Customers using VoiceOver, Apple’s built-in screen reader, can now easily navigate the app and make purchases. This update is part of our commitment to making shopping more inclusive for everyone, including those with visual impairments.
MHouse/MPOS V2 Integration
The new and improved MHouse/MPOS V2 integration is now live! This update brings:
- Better product updates, including specific stock level details.
- Enhanced order data processing from Snappy.
This integration ensures a more seamless experience for both stores and customers.
