Snappy Shopper relaunches East of England Co-op rapid-delivery service, powered by Nash
The East of England Co-op has reintroduced its Snappy Shopper rapid-delivery service, reflecting a renewed focus on accessibility, flexibility and convenience for its customers and members.
Through the new partnership, Snappy Shopper orders will be fulfilled via a technical agreement with Nash, the AI infrastructure for logistics. Nash will coordinate deliveries on behalf of the Co-op using courier partners including Stuart, Uber Direct and Just Eat Go.
This approach creates a more scalable, sustainable and efficient delivery model, helping the Co-op bring fast, affordable convenience to even more communities, without needing to operate its own fleet.
Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the East of England Co-op back to Snappy Shopper. Our previous partnership delivered thousands of orders, proving how much customers and members valued rapid delivery from their local Co-op stores. With the continued development of our technology, we’re now able to build on that early momentum and take the partnership to the next level.”
Simon Dryell, Chief Commercial Officer for the East of England Co-op, said: “Convenience is at the heart of what we do, and this relaunch enables us to provide a seamless, flexible service while making the most of new technology and delivery partnerships.
We know many of our members and customers loved using Snappy Shopper before and we’re excited to reintroduce the service in a way that’s even better suited to their needs today.”
The service is now live in five pilot stores: Barking Road and Rushmere in Suffolk, Earls Colne and Mersea Road in Essex, and Costessey in Norfolk.
