Why we're partnering with EPOS providers to improve grocery delivery

We're partnering with more EPOS companies and planning regular sales promotions to improve its grocery delivery service for retailers and their customers.

We have recently seen considerable success with the Co-op group Scotmid in many of their independent stores as this has allowed them to cut their delivery times by 29% by removing order scanning at the till. As a result, this has supported our Scotmid retailers to increase sales through Snappy Shopper and widen their delivery capacity whilst reducing staff time preparing orders and amending price files.

“It’s one of our key initiatives across the group right now, so we are already partnered and partnering with more EPoS companies. We are at a legal stage with those we are involved with, so can’t say much more.

Snappy’s recent offer of a whole basket of items for 1p had been ordered by more than 13,000 customers, and we're planning a more regular and easier-to-manage promotion cycle for stores is in the works. Our intention is to have a regular cadence of promotions through the year that support local communities,”
