Delivery solutions that benefits both retailers and customers
Our home delivery platform is all about delivering solutions that benefit everyone, from retailers to their customers and the communities they serve.
Our head of marketing, Dael Links, recently shared that we're committed to supporting convenience retail by expanding throughout the UK. We're also focused on driving new and existing shoppers to buy leading brands, which increases both the frequency and value of their baskets.
At Snappy Shopper, we recognise that shoppers require both value and convenience, while retailers need support to sustain and expand their business. That's why we offer online prices that are the same as in-store, without any extra costs.
Benefits of our low-commission model
Our low-commission model also helps convenience stores protect their margins and maintain fair pricing for customers. We believe that offering value is essential, especially in today's cost-of-living crisis, and it helps build lasting relationships between stores and their online customers.
To help achieve this, we negotiate with brands and wholesalers to secure deals that provide real shopper value and drive sales. Our technology, coupled with a retailer's own activity, is vital in pointing consumers to relevant offers.
Promotional offers in conjunction with retailers
We're also committed to supporting the end customer by working closely with retailers. Our recent partnership with hundreds of retailers across the country led to the sale of more than 13,000 1p product bundles to consumers during a three-day promotion. This campaign created a real feel-good factor around the consumer and our ability to support them during the cost-of-living crisis. It also grew our consumer base while supporting local communities.
We believe that the top priority for retailers investing in technology should be to ensure it boosts profitability. That's why we work with retailers as a team, visiting stores multiple times during the launch programme and running attractive promotions that appeal to their customers.
Helping retailers grow with delivery
Our collaborative approach is working, and we're proud to say that we now have 2,500 stores across the group, with ongoing expansion into England and Wales. Our top-performing shops are growing incremental sales by £1 million a year and more, with retailers reporting a £26 average basket spend via the app compared with only £10 for in-store customers. Plus, about 80% of our app shoppers would never have visited their physical store.
At Snappy Shopper, we see retailers as pillars of the community. We're all about maintaining their presence, delivering convenience, and protecting local services.
