£100K Sales Growth in Just 2 Months for Three West Yorkshire Stores
We’re proud to share the incredible success of three West Yorkshire convenience stores that have recently joined Snappy Shopper - Barry’s Premier Halton Moor (Leeds), Taylor’s Foodstore (Holmfirth), and Premier Drighlington (Bradford).
Together, these independent stores have generated over 4,000 orders and more than £100,000 in sales, all in under two months.
🚀 Fast, Local, and Growing
Since joining Snappy Shopper, all three stores have been able to offer fast, reliable delivery to their local communities, in as little as 30 minutes.
The early results reflect what we’re seeing across the UK: demand for quick, local delivery is stronger than ever, and our platform is helping retailers meet it head-on.
Two of the stores, Barry’s Premier Halton Moor and Taylor’s Foodstore, transitioned to Snappy Shopper from another delivery provider in April. They’ve already seen significant growth in orders and customer engagement.
Premier Drighlington, which had never offered delivery before, launched on 9 June and secured orders within its first week - proof of immediate demand!
📈 Powered by Technology, Backed by Marketing
To help kickstart their delivery success, each store launched with tailored customer offers, funded by Snappy Shopper, including £10 off the first order (or first three orders, in Drighlington). These were paired with attention-grabbing online promotions like 50% off big brands to boost conversion and loyalty from day one.
“Snappy Shopper has been a game changer for us,” said Kevin Wilson, owner of the three stores. “The EPOS integration has made a big difference, we can now offer real-time stock updates which wasn’t possible with our previous delivery provider.
“The technology is a real step up and the marketing support has been invaluable in driving both awareness and sales. We’ve seen significant growth in a short period of time.”
We’ve also supported Barry’s Premier Halton Moor with a branded delivery vehicle featuring Kevin’s face - a standout activation that’s become a real talking point in the community.
🤝 Built for Community-First Retailers
Kevin and his son Sam have operated Barry’s Premier Halton Moor since 2018 and have become well-known for their community commitment, supporting school trips, donating to local causes, and engaging with customers both in-store and online.
Taylor’s Foodstore, with a strong local following and over 1,300 Facebook followers, has been using social media to boost awareness and drive orders, already generating 800 since launch. Premier Drighlington has hit the ground running, making the most of Snappy Shopper’s promotional tools to deliver strong early performance.
“These are exactly the kind of community-first stores we love to work with,” says Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper. “The early results speak for themselves—independent retailers can grow faster, serve wider, and stay rooted in their communities with the right technology and marketing behind them.”
We’re delighted to welcome Kevin and his stores to the Snappy Shopper platform, and we can’t wait to see how their businesses continue to grow.
